January 2002   Same as everybody I couldn’t gain access to the 1901 Census details. Free Adze  -  Cawthorne Museum - If you would like to see exhibits and memorabilia of what could have been evident in Methley in times past,  then visit this charming museum in the South Yorkshire village of Cawthorne.  The museum is manned by volunteers at weekends but group bookings including schools can be arranged on week days    - make it part of your visit to Cannon Hall   -   go on, its only 50p and 20p and excellent value.
