I am indebted to Barry Robbins, formerly of The Hollings who, as a professional architect maintains a special interest in great estate houses of the past in particular the one at Methley Hall.  It is possible to walk along the top of the foundation walls where the underground level floors have been filled in tracing the lines and size of the building but beware part of it is under a manure pile and you need permission.   However thanks to Barry the following pictures will provide a better view of the building.
